How It Works

Our autonomous solution is a system of robotic components that easily install into any ADT, converting it from manual to an autonomous construction haulage unit. Since most modern units are controlled by-wire, our system leverages the ADTs existing CAN Bus system to direct vehicle functions. This way, it can control the transmission, steering, acceleration, and braking, and monitor real-time vehicle health indicators.

In some ADTs, steering is still a mechanical function. ASI installs an electro-mechanical steering actuator to perform steering maneuvers.

The Haulage A.I.

The Haulage A.I. leverages advanced multi-vehicle command and control software to set up and manage a coordinated system of autonomous construction ADTs, haul trucks, excavators and dozers. The Haulage A.I. keeps all trucks consistently tasked, queues waiting vehicles, and regulates the haul cycle in the most efficient way possible.
